In my practice as a psychotherapist, I have enjoyed a rich, diverse life from New York City to the wilderness of Alaska. I grew up in Brooklyn New York, attending graduate school and psychoanalytic training in Manhattan. Living in Greenwich Village, the community of arts and alternative culture influenced my personal and professional growth.
In 2011 I opened an office in Eugene Oregon, a short walk from the University of Oregon, where I practice most of the year. In the summer I work in my office in Haines Alaska and provide tellehealth sessions for those at a distance. Since 2003, I have lived with my family in Southeast Alaska in our off-the-grid home on a peninsula bordering one of the deepest fjords in North America.
