It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the Executive Director and Founder of Rover Rescue, Cathy L. Rubin, PhD.
Cathy passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 28th, 2010. She was surrounded by loved ones and her precious dogs. Cathy did so much for homeless dogs from LA County Animal Shelters. With Cathy's expertise, passion and enormous heart, Rover Rescue has successfully placed over 1300 dogs since our inception in 2001. She will be greatly missed by friends, family, supporters of Rover Rescue, and mostly by the dogs whose lives she saved.
