Description: MDB Serial with management and P2P mode
While iteratively developing a multidrop serial bus, I have improved my skills. I am continuing to iterate. Everything is off the shelf parts and CAT5 cables. The CAT5 has four twisted-pair; each with well-defined characteristics; I use three pairs for signals that transceivers interface. Those signals include TX, RX for serial, and OOB (was DTR) for management. The fourth pair is passive and used for the ground voltage.
