You don’t know me, but I have been captivated by your company since I graduated college in 2006. I worked my first job at a small startup ( Qualtrics ) in the basement of the founder’s (Ryan Smith) Dad’s house. I read everything I could get my hands on—I was trying to find my way, to identify what I believed in. One day I came across the Signal v. Noise blog. I looked forward to reading it every day. I love how clear the writing is, I admire the passion, the cohesion, and how Jason and David take a stand. T
Now that’s out of the way, let’s talk about why I would I be a good fit as a designer at Basecamp.
I'm a fanatic about design. Not just how it looks, but how it works. I can trace my interest in almost anything back to design, from a product to a service to an experience. My conception of design goes far beyond websites, brochures, emails, and brand identity. It’s about the entire process of working with the company. Every interaction matters. Every pixel matters. Every word matters. And I love trying to make it a better experience. I have worked for tech companies, a construction company, and now a fin
