welcome on this new website, which is under construction. It is the counterpart to the German version, which you can click here and which already informs you extensively about the previous researches of geology. geophysics, mineralogy, petrography and geochemistry of this remarkable impact event.
Here we begin by way of introduction with a compilation of the papers published to date on the Saarland impact at International Conferences, giving an overview of the history of the discovery over the last ca.10 years and of the current state of research with the most important results.
