Sadayappan Lab provides opportunity for graduate students to do lab rotation, who are from integrated biology and physiology programs. One of the missions of our Department is to provide opportunity, training and facilities.
Growing up in the rural town of Pattiveeranpatti, Tamilnadu, India, Dr. Sadayappan was destined to be a coconut farmer. However, with guidance from his parents, he decided to take a very different path as a scientist. Based on his fascination with plant life on the farm, he would go on to receive his undergraduate degree in Botany. Armed with innate academic ability and a thirst for more knowledge, he continued his graduate and doctoral studies, taking a long road leading, finally, to the post of Professor
