Kerri Kochanski is sad because she can’t stop thinking about theatre. Or dreaming about theatre. Or writing sad stories for theatre. She would like to write a comedy, but she hasn’t even bothered to go there because she has too much sadness to expel first.
The world is sad. People are sad. And people who make theatre are sad and miserable. This is why she has frown lines and a furrowed brow. She drinks margaritas to take the edge off, and she cries herself to sleep at night, wishing for a day when she will be able to give up theatre forever, and be happy and carefree like her non-theatre friends.
