Description: Southern Alberta Primary Care Research Network (SAPCReN)
SAPCReN is a multidisciplinary collaboration of primary health care providers and researchers working to rigorously address research questions derived from clinical practice. Since our inception in 2007, SAPCReN has grown to include over 300 members.
SAPCReN supports research relevant to the primary care setting, with a wide range of studies relating to topics such as disease prevention and health promotion, screening and early diagnosis, surveillance, and management of various health conditions.
My Kidney My Health is an interactive e-health self-management tool that provides tailored guidance and supporting information to patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and their caregivers. The website was developed by a multidisciplinary research team to support patient and caregiver understanding and active management of CKD, as well as slow progression.
