Great news for Cooper Park! The Mountain View Whisman School District announced in March 2019 that it is now seeking to locate employee housing elsewhere in Mountain View instead of Cooper Park. The plan to build houses and apartment buildings in Cooper Park that the school district announced in January 2018 is no longer being pursued. Instead, the the school district reached an agreement with the developer of an apartment complex at 777 West Middlefield to lease 144 units for school district employees. On
