Since 2004, Denver Safari Club International Humanitarian Outreach Program (SCIHOP) has supported outdoor events for thousands of military veterans and other people with an array of physical, emotional and mental disabilities. We know daily life for a person who has sustained a disabling injury or brain trauma can be stressful and isolating for them and for their family. SCIHOP is honored to support the nonprofit River Deep Foundation , which organizes hunting and fishing trips; instruction in archery and sporting clays shooting and an array of other outdoor events. Our teamwork with the foundation provides priceless opportunities for a day of peace, relaxation, camaraderie and fun in a safe, supportive environment.
Our free events are specially designed for people who have traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other disabling injuries caused by psychological trauma. Space at our events is limited and awarded on a basis of first come, first served.
