Tartan Day is a unique moment for Scotland to celebrate our enduring connection with the USA and Canada and showcase what these connections are helping to achieve today.
This year's celebrations are particularly significant as it’s the 25th anniversary of the recognition of Tartan Day in the USA. Declared by the Senate in 1998 to celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions made by Scottish Americans to the United States.
It will also be the 25th anniversary of the New York City Tartan Day Parade, which will take place on 15 April 2023 at 2pm.
