A family run business, Select Stores was bought by our parents Margaret and Paddy McCabe in 1959. It started its life as a general store, filled with bicycles, fresh fruits and vegetables, moss peat and fuel, and our family spent the next 45 years serving the local community in this way, with our store becoming a focal point of Dalkey village life. However, in 2004 we realised that the needs of our customers were evolving. Therefore, always willing and able to move with the times we transformed Select Store
