Serenna Wagner is an experienced, prize-winning lyric dramatic mezzo soprano who is known for her warm stage presence, her depth of tone and for her versatility and breadth of repertoire. Serenna's diverse performances have recently included the inimitable comic headmistress Miss de Trique in the London performance of Chris Gill’s new piece Grrrlz ; Dritte Dame for Oxford Opera; Cherubino with Heritage Opera; Katisha The Mikado and Principessa Puccini Suor Angelica both for Opera Anywhere.
This Spring Serenna sang the Mozart Requiem with The Southern Sinfonia orchestra under Chris McDade and Suzuki with the Orchestra dell'Arte in Madama Butterfly at St. George’s Hall, Liverpool. Following on from her recent performance of Gerontius with The Stewkley Singers she will return to sing the solos in Verdi Requiem in May 2024.
