While France is organizing a vast revival of its nuclear industry, it also aims to locate as much of the value chain as possible on national territory. In this context, the Minister of Energy Transition, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, visited the Framatome plant in Le Creusot to announce the relocation of the manufacture of reactor internals.
The Minister for Energy Transition, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, brought together 12 countries and the European Commission on February 28 to launch a nuclear alliance in Europe. The aim is to improve cooperation regarding skills, innovation, and safety.
While the public debate on the EPR2 program is underway and Parliament is preparing to debate France’s energy future, the Élysée is determined not to waste any time on nuclear power.
