A type of group electricity buying program, Sherborn Power Choice will provide our community with an opportunity to increase the amount of renewable energy in our electricity supply and create new electricity supply choices. Sherborn’s Aggregation Plan document describes how the program will work and meet regulatory requirements. The Aggregation Plan was presented to the public and made available for comment from March 1 through March 29, 2021. The Aggregation Plan was submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU) for review on May 14, 2021. Once the DPU approves the Plan, Sherborn Power Choice can launch. The regulatory review and approval process is expected to require several months.
