Born in 1981. Lives and works in Kanagawa. Videographer. Shigeta works in media art through his interest in a wide range of animation, including principles and devices such as phenakistoscopes and zoetropes. His theory is that the invention of film had disconnected the two aspects of old school animation — the device(media) and the image(content).
