Our aspiration is to educate Oklahoma communities, break the sickle cell silence, and increase self esteem; as we improve the overall quality of life for children, adults, and families living with sickle cell thalassemia disease trait in Oklahoma.
Supporters of Families with Sickle Cell Disease in conjunction with the State of Oklahoma is launching a new campaign – “Sickle Cell Looks Like You, Sickle Cell Looks Like Me” , a multi-faceted online and print media campaign designed to drive awareness of Sickle Cell Disease and other hemoglobinopathy diseases.
But most importantly, this campaign is designed to provide the resources and tools that Oklahomans who are living with sickle cell disease need to live a happier, healthier life!
