The Sigismondo motor sailer, built in 1901, has been sailing to the Aeolian Islands since 1946. For many years it has transported goods between the islands of the Aeolian archipelago. In 1949, he had the honor of hosting Roberto Rossellini, Ingrid Bergman and the film crew, which made the Aeolian Islands known to the whole world, “Stromboli, land of God”.
