It’s been estimated that in the next 10 years, 9,000 churches will be closing their doors for the last time. We take comfort in the reality that Jesus builds His church, that He is faithful and that nothing can stop His mission from advancing.
At our 2022 Pastor/Leader & Spouse Retreat in Banff there was significant dialogue that took place about forming a greater degree of support for spouses of pastors/leaders in ministry. Without question this need has blossomed during the years I have served as Director of Ministry.
“The 2023 Assembly met and exceeded all my expectations for an inspiring event,” was the comment from one delegate. Another said that he could not forget one of the sessional speaker’s call to, “Preach the gospel until they kill you!” Over one hundred people registered for the annual SKMB Assembly hosted by Parliament Community Church (Regina).
