I provide social skills coaching to teens and adults with developmental, social, and intellectual disabilities, such as autism, Asperger Syndrome, nonverbal learning disability, ADHD, social anxiety, and brain injury.
Adults with special needs are currently an underserved population. As part of an IEP, children from birth to age 21 are eligible for services relating to social skills training. Past the age of 21, however, adults with social difficulties find their services dramatically reduced. These adults with special needs are left out in the cold.
