STI is an independent, non-profit research center that offers institutional and financial support to academics in all fields who seek to make sense of emerging social trends and their effects on human communities.
Biomedicine is increasingly considering heritable genetic modifications (called germline procedures) that change the entire genetic heritage (the genome) of a human being and all potential descendants. These genetic modifications could include those seeking to address a genetic disorder in a group of persons, or go even further, seeking to genetically enhance individuals beyond what could be considered as the norm.
Corporate culture is considered to be a highly relevant driver of firms' success. Unfortunately, there is neither widespread agreement on how to unpack the determinants of corporate culture, nor on how those factors influence corporate performance.
