It is SOMA's intention to establish a sustainable community consisting of "social housing", where the tenants live in carbon friendly homes. They rent these at an affordable rent where friends and relatives live near by. The co-op intends to provide what ever support structures are required by the members and which enable a disabled person to live independently.
