We welcome well behaved children and dogs on the fishery. Dogs should be kept on a lead and not allowed to chase the wildlife. The fishery is within a SSSI and conservation of wildlife is actively managed. You may see duck nesting baskets and bat boxes in parts of the fishery - please do not touch them. Salmon fishing on the Royalty has a long history of "portmanteau" fish. Large spring fish are still a feature of the fishery. Fishing for all species is strictly catch and release only.
