We Custom Cut Lumber From Logs
Our sawmill was established and has run continuously since 1948. Ron Jones purchased the business from the Westover family in 2007 and we continue to be a family-owned company.
Local sawmills have traditionally been part of the rural landscape. Our purchase of logs provides income for landowners. A retail lumberyard, although it may carry quality products, will not likely offer the durability or a native source of hardwood that contributes to the local economy. In most applications, Missouri hardwoods perform as well as or better than lumber shipped in from the Deep South, Pacific Northwest, and Canada.
