The FLOAT Foundation (For the Love of Assistive Technology Foundation) is a collection of powerful initiatives carried out by Alex Lewis and the Alex Lewis Trust, designed to highlight the colossal cost of Assistive Technology (AT). In 2013 Alex was told that he would need £4,000,000 of AT to support him in leading an independent life. He set up FLOAT with the mission to help create a world where AT is accessible and affordable for all individuals.
