Description: The South Shore Joint Initiative (SSJI) is a Canadian non-profit charitable organization that aims to protect, preserve and restore the lands and waters of Prince Edward County's South Shore, an Important Bird and Biodiversity Area (IBA). The SSJI educates and advocates for the conservation of this unique and diverse ecosystem, where biodiversity and people thrive together. SSJI is celebrating this year its 5th Anniversary and the creation of the Monarch Point Conservation Reserve in Prince Edward County.
