Steve started in show budgies in NSW in 1993 and was in The Cumberland Club. When they moved to Victoria in 2000 Steve joined the Glenroy club and formed a partnership with his son Tim in 2007.
They have been in the Melton club for the last 9 years. The partnership are Champion exhibitors and Steve is also a judge.
Some of the bloodlines of the birds include Moffat and Harris, Ray Welshman, Kelvin kakoschke, Russell woods, Nigel Tonkin, and Ross Loates.
