TINY ROCKET - MASSIVE INSPIRATION
The Steel River rocket missions are about inspiring and preparing future generations of space engineers and scientists. Now that the Artemis missions are well under way, with the realistic promise of returning mankind to the moon and sending explorers on to Mars, and the UK has at least one spaceport, there has never been a greater need for people with “the right stuff”.
Over the past 65 months, the Steel River rocket missions have given students the opportunity to do real hands-on work, launching edge-of-space balloons, firing rockets, building onboard computers etc. All have agreed that this education was far more than they could have received during their courses – however good those courses were.
