Subhash Vithaldas Thakrar is a former partner of Blackstone Franks LLP and CBW and a consultant to CBW , London city chartered accountants.
Subhash sits on the Boards of various companies in executive and non-executive positions. These include London Chamber of Commerce (Past Chairman), India Value Investments Ltd (INVIL), Triangle Real Estate India Fund Managers Ltd, Attlee Centre, Let Britain Fly, Signature Africa Ventures Ltd and a number of the other U.K. and International companies. He has been extensively involved in joint ventures and investment funds in India and more recently Africa.
Subhash was appointed by the UK Government as a Commissioner to advise the Secretary of State for International Development. He has held numerous public appointments including Chairman of Asian Business Association, Chairman of London Chamber of Commerce, OFWAT water regulator, Bank of England small business panel, Commonwealth Education Fund and World Hindu Economic Forum.
