The Sustainable Community Initiative (SCI) was created to help curb the growth of large-scale housing development in rural communities. We provide financial & legal services, community planning, property zoning, energy conservation and long-term facilities support to small communities interested in maintaining their quality of life.
The growth & development in rural towns and open spaces across the USA has become epidemic. Uncontrolled growth has become the norm in many regions that have appeal to people of all ages and interests. With more persons working from home, there is large-scale population migrations to rural areas of the country, affecting the culture and landscape of once small communities. End result: shopping malls and subdivisions.
SCI's goal is to help small communities retain their lifestyle and the things that make them so attractive in the first place. SCI is comprised of project managers, community planners, environmental analysts, real estate attorneys, agricutural experts, and other professionals who are concerned about large-scale development across America. SCI is based in a small, restricted-growth community on the Pacific Coast.
