Tae Kwon Do is the art of self defense that originated in Korea. It is recognized as one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world, reaching back over 2,000 years. The name was selected for its appropriate description of the art: Tae (foot), Kwon (hand), Do (art).
Self Confidence, Self Defence, Better Grades, Coordination, Fun Kids are motivated to exercise and get better so that they can achieve higher and higher belt rankings and the privileges associated therewith until they reach the large milestone of Black Belt. Children who train in Tae Kwon Do have been proven to achieve higher grades in school. At TKDA students are required to do their best in school in order to continue to participate in the training and activities.
