The IPCC Report concluded that if we are to limit global warming to 1.5 ℃, we have until 2030 to cut carbon by 45% (now at least 50%). We have until 2050 to reduce global emissions to net zero .
We need to reach real zero emissions as soon as possible .
It has to be done in a way that is equitable and just .
