Home SHOWS Photo Gallery Contact EPK Linda started singing at a very young age, in fact one of her first paid performances was for her grandfather, who used to stand her up in his arm chair and give her all the change in his pocket in exchange for her singing “Green, green grass of home”. She was inspired by that and was part of the school’s choirs up until she left, singing Alto.
It was in her early 20’s that Linda taught herself the basics of strumming the guitar to assist her with her writing, however she prefers to have others play so that she may concentrate all of her attention and emotion that goes into her performance. One of her greatest accomplishments was winning a contest and being an opening act for Kenny Rogers at the Barrie, Molson Centre in October of 1999. The song “Crazy” was one of the most requested “Nooner” songs for some weeks on Midland’s KICX 106 (at the time)
