I began vaulting as a freshman at Olentangy Orange high school on March 19, 2019 during outdoor season. I was previously a competitive gymnast, cheerleader, hurdler, high jumper and long jumper. In gymnastics, I competed for 4 years, and won multiple Ohio state championships at compulsory levels. My high school pole vault coach at Olentangy Orange is Andy Nageotte. Andy is a fantastic coach who has helped me immensely to improve my outdoor consistency this year. I also train at Buckeye Pole Vault Academy in Sunbury, Ohio under coach Austin Hicks . All my coaches are awesome, including my HS head coach Adam Walters , and I owe all my progress and achievements in pole vault to them.
