One of the most important things we can do at Tech-Girls is to provide our participants access to role models and mentors. A Gallup and Amazon Future Engineer Report revealed that 5th through 12th grade students who identified that they were connected with a computer science role model were over 10 times more likely to pursue computer science careers than those without a connection.
