A bit about us…
Our names are Tess Mayer & Julia Wang and we are photography duo based in NYC. We met our freshman year at NYU Tisch and since then have run a magazine together, worked as teaching assistants at ICP & NYU , and shot our first wedding our senior year.
Our style is a blend of candid documentary and stylized portraiture - we approach your day not as strangers following you around, but as excited guests (who happen to be carrying around cameras and massive lenses) who will most likely cry during your vows.
