Description: The Barrington Boar is a restaurant & bar with rooms, offering refined Modern British cooking & refined comfort food in the heart of the South Somerset countryside.
Husband & wife team Alasdair Clifford & Victoria Collins took over the reins of The Barrington Boar in June 2018 & have created a restaurant & pub that is both casual & contemporary. The kitchen is run by Alasdair who grew up locally & has over ten years experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants including Chez Bruce & The Glasshouse.
The Barrington Boar was featured in the MICHELIN Guide 2023, Harden\u2019s Guide & Top 100 Gastro Pubs (#97) & were finalists at the 2023 Trencherman\u2019s Awards for Best Pub.
The restaurant menu focuses on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients from the farmers, foragers, brewers & cheesemongers living within a few miles of Barrington. The pub is also fully stocked with South West produce with a selection of local ales, ciders & craft beers on tap, local gins & English sparkling wines.
