Description: The virtual home of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra for the 2020-21 Season.
The VSO acknowledges that we work and make music on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. In this short video, Alec Dan (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Bob Baker (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) and Dennis Thomas (Sel̓íl̓witulh) each share music and words of welcome.
The VSO digital series continues online this season with ten full-length performances livestreamed direct from the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver.
The first performance, “A New World”, will livestream for free Saturday, October 16, 8pm.
