Description: Actual stories, written in real time about the dogs that we have rescued. Most are Border Collies and herding breeds found on death row in kill shelters. Rescuers “pull” these dogs before the eleventh hour, then foster & transport them to safety. They are behind the scenes heroes. Because of our volunteers, dedicated adopters, and supporters, these special dogs are given a second chance to have a story book ending. The Dog Liberator rescues abandoned dogs throughout the Southeast. Based in Central Florida, this non-profit organization fosters all of their dogs in a home environment. Founded in 2009, all dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
