A pub has stood on the corner of Cossington Road and Old Dover Road since 1874, originally known as the Bridge House Tavern, it was severely damaged in a fire in 1968 after which it was rebuilt and appropriately enough it was renamed as 'The Phoenix'. Now owned by Bob and Nilla Griffiths, they welcome you to enjoy a wide range of real ales, good food and live music at The Phoenix!
