In my practice, I provide a safe environment where clients can start exploring their feelings, accept them, and work through them. It is scary and uncomfortable to face our emotions sometimes, and that is why I am right there with my clients, through the process, walking alongside them.
Feelings, positive or negative, are there for a reason, and if we do not tend to them, we are denying an important part of our mental wellbeing. It does not mean that we need to sit on our negative emotions forever, but it means that only by accepting them and working through them can we move on FROM them.
