The Society of Sports Therapists was established in 1990 and today it is the lead organisation for Sports Therapists in the UK. Membership of the Society is at Graduate level via a Society accredited degree programme. The Society now collaborates with 32 universities, including two internationally, and accredits 40 academic Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
