Menidee is a wonderful little town with tragic environmental problems. Virtually all the aquatic life in the Menindee Lakes perished due to the mismanagement of flood blackwater, which was fed into the lake. I feel horrible for the residence and all the non-human life at Menindee.
An apocalyptic place for an apocalyptic time. Out in Woop Woop, at the back of beyond. Driving down Fury Road on the tail of Max and his Interceptor.
