There are now 72 pure breeds, and hundreds of cross-breeds found across our landscape. From harsh wind-whipped mountains, through to the rolling hills of the South, each breed's fleece qualities reflect the conditions it protects its wearer from. 

Passionate about British wool, British craft, British design and British manufacture. The Woolist seeks to highlight the unique wool qualities of our sheep, and the ways designers, makers, crafters and manufacturers are working with this material.
