Between Nov. 29 (a.k.a. #GivingNewsDay) and Dec. 31, 2022, each newsroom below will receive up to $5,000 from Colorado Media Project, in a dollar-for-dollar match aimed at inspiring individuals like you who support long-term sustainability of public-service journalism — which informs communities and strengthens civic engagement statewide.
2022 is the fifth consecutive year that Colorado Media Project is offering the matching grant challenge; last year, 26 CMP grantees collectively raised more than $700,000 in the month of December. The program is modeled after the national NewsMatch campaign that helped nonprofit newsrooms across the country raise $46 million in 2021.
