Todd has been photographing dance since the early 1980s. He was the official photographer for Dwight Grell's Russian Ballet Archives from 1986 thru 2014, now part of the University of Southern California's Dance Archives. He has also taken photos at every USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi since 1986- 2018 (held every four yrs. pre Covid19) as an official photographer. He currently serves as the official photographer for Westside School of Ballet in Santa Monica, California, Footworks Youth Ballet in Oxnard, Ca. Also, contributing photographer for the Anaheim Ballet in Anaheim, Ca. and the School of American Ballet on their Summer California Workshop.
