Torrevieja Pipes & Drums were formed some years back in 2007 following a desire of a few like-minded people wanting to get together to play traditional Scottish piping tunes. The get together eventually blossomed into a Pipes & Drum band, which gradually expanded as they enjoyed entertaining the public both ex-pats and the local populace. Sadly, people become infirm or at odds with one another and musicians come and go; the band has very rarely had to cancel venues for lack of band members. We currently have seven regular pipers plus three visiting pipers who come out from the UK to play with us; our drum core consists of two snare drummers, a tenor and base. Nevertheless, we are always on the lookout for new members of the band to bolster our numbers, we are fortunate to have visiting pipers who holiday in Spain on a regular basis and are a
