Hydrogen is key to meeting the UK’s goal of net zero emissions by 2050, and to the decarbonisation of the planet. Seventy percent of the earth’s surface is made up of seawater, but currently there is no efficient means of generating hydrogen directly from this abundant natural resource.
Current approaches to generating green hydrogen from seawater require costly desalination, produce toxic by-products, and result in rapid equipment corrosion. These are significant barriers to being able to scale hydrogen production worldwide.
Torvex Energy have plans to change that. We have developed a unique electrochemical reaction process that will revolutionise the efficiency and sustainability of green hydrogen production.
