The Town of Bloomfield is located in Waushara County, Central Wisconsin, just south of Waupaca County and west of Winnebago County. As of January 1, 2021 the population estimate was 1,089. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.9 square miles (92.9 km2), of which, 35.4 square miles (91.7 km2) is land and 0.5 square miles (1.2 km2 - 1.28%) is water.
There are 3 small, unincorporated communities located within the town. They are West Bloomfield, Tustin and Brushville. State Highway 49 is the main roadway through the town. Several county roads - U, A, HH, I and M cut through Bloomfield as well. This area has quite a bit of wetlands, marshes and lowlands, along with some woods and a lot of farm fields with several unnamed creeks. The only named streams are Alder Creek and Mosquito Creek.
