Since December 2015, TransOxford is the leading independent dedicated support group for the transgender and gender non-conforming people in Oxfordshire the number of which is currently estimated in excess of 5,000.
We are run entirely by the volunteers. We all know ‘first hand’ the problems associated with gender dysphoria, transition and post-transitional social integration of transgender people.
Our members come from all walks of life and benefit from an informal exchange of social and professional ideas, knowledge, expertise and experience in many fields, including personal confidence and development, social integration in a new gender role, legal, psychological and other aspects of living with their gender identity.
